The buzz continued throughout ’96 and the demand saw Soccer Six roll across to South London. Lennox Lewis led the way with a young Jamie Theakston in goal and Bradley Walsh in defence. The already legendary afterparties reputation rose as rock n roll heavyweights – and ace footballers – Def Leppard and Iron Maiden joined the party with players from The Cult, The Damned, Sham 69, James, Texas and The Beautiful South also starring.
