A new era began with The Music Industry Soccer Six with a strong return to its roots with a record amount of celebrities from internationally known bands to new bands starting their journeys rocking up. It worked spectacularly with over 700 musos getting kitted up and forming many new friendships within the music and entertainment industries. Stars from across the spectrum attended but it was the music that shone through. The live stage performances As the sun set with the Canary Wharf backdrop the live stage performances were the most memorable yet. On the pitch Lorraine Stanley & Emily Capell starred for the girls. Of the dozen tournaments the key ones saw This Feeling pip XFM for the Indie bragging rights while Mallory Knox edged out Soccer Six legends The Darkness for the rock title. To top it off it was superstar-in-waiting Tom Grennan who did a Pete Doherty by scoring the winner in the final over Milburn to create Soccer Six history and lead the way for the next generation.
